Sarah Hyunji Cho has worked as a producer, director, writer, DP, and editor in both the TV and digital space. She was a 2018 Nicholl Fellowship Quarterfinalist and has been a 2nd Round Finalist for Sundance Screenwriter's Lab two years in a row.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she got her start producing, shooting, and editing interviews and music videos with Hip-Hop and EDM artists. She then went on to produce Control Freak - a three-part documentary exploring different aspects of the Adult industry which included the BDSM community, the intersection of technology and porn, and sexual assault and racism in the industry.
She worked briefly in sports media as an Associate Producer for Uninterrupted - producing, shooting, and editing their Halftime is Uninterrupted show with current and past NBA and NFL players. And most recently, she's worked as a Segment Producer-Preditor for a Showtime TV show.
She's currently directing and writing a short film through the AWC Directing Fellowship which will premiere at the Los Angeles Asian-American Film Festival in May of 2019.
